REGIONAL CORRESPONDENTSAre you passionate about science, technology, engineering or mathematics? Are you interested in gaining leadership experience or building your resume? Above all, do you want to help lead the youth science movement in your community? Then maybe you should be a SMARTS Regional Correspondent! Regional Correspondents are motivated students who lead the youth science movement in their communities. As a Regional Correspondent, you will be one of the official SMARTS youth volunteers for your entire region! Your role involves various types of science promotion to youth (e.g. presenting workshops to local schools and promoting involvement in SMARTS). Please see the Downloads area at the bottom of this page to learn about the complete role of a Regional Correspondent. As a SMARTS Regional Correspondent, you
will gain tremendous life experiences and leadership skills. You may also receive prominent recognition
for your work. This experience will be an excellent resume builder and looks
great for scholarship/university applications.
You will also be eligible to win one of our prestigious SMARTS Regional
