Science Fair Support

SMARTS is here to inspire and engage students across Canada in conducting science fair projects. As we are all Canada-Wide Science Fair alumni, we can attest to how science fair projects are one of the most amazing educational experiences a student can have—an experience we don’t want any student missing out on!

Far too often, students are unaware of this opportunity. There are also students who may be aware of science fairs, but simply don’t know how to get involved. We’re here to provide information and guidance for students throughout the science fair process. We not only want to help you get involved, we want to help you succeed!

How we help
The SMARTS Network helps youth in their science fair projects in two main ways:

Ask an Expert
Have a question? Need help? Made up of CWSF and Intel ISEF alumni, our “science fair experts” are here to help you! For any part of the science fair process, whether you need help in the life sciences or advice on presentations, we have an “expert” to help you.

Resources
SMARTS has developed comprehensive resources to show you not only how to compete and win at science fairs, but also how to connect with mentors.
